MARIA KARZI

About Maria Karzi

 

​I live and work in Athens, Greece. My studies in painting were near the greek painter Kazazi Maria. I am a member of IAACMOA (International Artistic Advisory Committee of the Museum of the Americas in Miami,Florida) and also a representative of the Museum. Moreover, i am associated in organization A.P.A.I of Rome, in Association "Arteggiando" of Naples, in Association "dei Partenopei" of Naples and Association "Lynnart" of Rome.

In my art, i concetrate on human nature. The instinctive interest for human being within the universe, is a research that feeds my inspiration. Our feelings and dreams are our valuable treasure of our soul, that give us hope against mortality. When these are captured in a painting, they become immortal, also in a very personal manner (artist's aspect).

The materials i use in my paintings are mostly acrylic colors and collage (such as beads, threads, paper, small pieces of glass or wood etc).

 

My artworks are mainly exhibited in Italy, and in the world. I am part of the project “Seven Sins” curated by Roberto Ronca in Italy and part of the italian project "Les Italiens" curated by Silvia Arfelli. In October 2013, i represented the gallery "Sabrina Falzone" of Milan, in the "International fair of contemporary art, Artshopping of Paris", in Carrousel of Louvre.
